Moroccan Falafel Pilaf

The aromatic spice of Cauldron Moroccan Falafels are combined with a beautifully aromatic Pilaf. Garnished with toasted pistachios and pomegranate seeds, this vibrant Pilaf will definitely become a crowd favourite.

1 pack of Cauldron Moroccan Falafels
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 inch of ginger, grated
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground black pepper
1 × 250g pack of pre-cooked pilau rice
2 tbsp roughly chopped toasted pistachios,
2 tbsp finely chopped parsley
2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp finely grated orange zest


  1. Preheat your oven to 200 C and cook the Cauldron Moroccan Falafels according to pack instructions.
  2. Place a wok on a high heat and add the oil. Once hot, add the coriander and fry for 1 minute. Add the onion, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt and pepper and fry for a further 5 minutes. Add the rice to the pan and cook for a further 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer the rice to a serving plate. Top with the Cauldron Moroccan Falafels and garnish with the toasted pistachios, parsley, pomegranate seeds and orange zest. Mix together before serving.
