Marinated tofu tastes great when grilled on the BBQ. (Psst… extra firm works best, and ours is ready to use from the pack with no pressing.) If you want proof, these delicious Vietnamese Tofu Skewers are bursting with subtle Asian spices and fantastically rich flavours.

They only need ten minutes to marinate, then a few minutes each side on the BBQ. So for spontaneous sunshine and last-minute BBQs, they’re perfect. And vegan too. (You might want to double up the dipping sauce, as it tastes great with every other BBQ dish too!)

Our recipe shows how you can prep the tofu in an air fryer, but for a full on BBQ experience, char grill the chunks over an open flame. (The easiest way is to thread them onto a skewer to grill, then take them off and mix with the salad.)

Say hallo(umi) summer with this Tofu ‘Halloumi’ Sharing Platter. It’s like halloumi, but vegan! You could just do the tofu halloumi bit on the BBQ and serve with your classics, but it seems a shame to miss out on all the flavour of the full sharing platter.
