Ingredients
1 pack Cauldron Quick & Tasty Tofu
1 nori seaweed sheet
50 g panko breadcrumbs
50 ml rapeseed oil for frying
For the batter:
125g flour
1 tsp sea salt, fine
½ tsp turmeric
2 tbsp pickle brine
Juice half a lemon
A couple of tablespoons of beer (go for a vegan friendly pale ale!)
For the Vegan Tartar Sauce:
100g vegan mayonnaise
2 Tbsp fresh dill, finely chopped
1 finely diced pickle
1 Tbsp pickle brine
Juice of half a lemon
1 tsp maple syrup
Half of shallot or small onion (finely diced)
½ tsp black pepper
Sea salt to taste
For serving:
2 vegan-friendly burger buns
A few pieces of lettuce
2 slices of vegan cheese
2 tbsp carrot slaw
Sweet potato wedges on the side
