TOFU MANCHURIAN

This Tofu Manchurian, made with our tasty marinated tofu pieces, is packed full of crunchy veg. The tofu is marinated with a hint of garlic and ginger, making it incredibly versatile and a real crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

1 packet Cauldron marinated tofu
3 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
1 cup Onion Diced⁠ – white & red
1 cup Mixed bell pepper, diced⁠
1 Chilly
Salt to taste⁠
1 tsp Black Pepper Powder⁠
2 Tsp Hot Sauce⁠
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce⁠
1 Tbsp Tomato sauce⁠
1 Tsp Vinegar⁠
1 Tsp Brown Sugar

Garnishes
Spring Onion Greens
Chives
Sesame Seeds

Method

  1. Heat 2 Tsp sesame oil and pan-fry the marinated tofu until slightly crispy. Transfer them to a kitchen tissue and set it aside.
  2. In the same pan, add 1 tbsp sesame oil, add ginger garlic paste, onion, and saute on high for 2 minutes briefly.⁠
  3. Add chilly, green & yellow pepper, and saute for 1 minute.⁠
  4. Add the sauces to the pan and cook briefly until they coat the vegetables well.
  5. Now add the tofu and toss to coat the sauces along with vegetables.
  6. Switch off the flame, season with salt & pepper. Garnish with chives, spring onion greens and sesame seeds.⁠

Cook the vegetables in High Heat, so that they remain crunchy
