Chilli Tofu Noodles

We’ve teamed up with Twisted to make this super simple Chilli Tofu Noodles dish, using fresh sliced vegetables, Cauldron Marinated Tofu Pieces and light rice noodles – Asian inspired deliciousness.

Ingredients

1 tbsp Veg oil
1 pack Cauldron Marinated Tofu Pieces
4 spring onions, sliced
4 garlic cloves, sliced
1 thumb ginger, thinly sliced
1 Birds eye chilli, diced
1 carrot, julienned
1 red pepper, julienned
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp white miso
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp red chilli paste or sambal
1 tbsp lime juice
250g cooked rice noodles

To serve
Deseeded red chilli, sesame seeds, coriander to garnish

Method

  1. In a wok or skillet, over medium heat, add your vegetable oil then your Cauldron Marinated Tofu Pieces. Once the tofu begins to crisp and turn golden brown, add in the aromatics, the spring onions, garlic, ginger and chilli and sautè for 3 mins
  2. Then, add in your vegetables and stir fry for another 3-4 mins
  3. In a small bowl, combine your soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, chilli paste and lime juice, mix until combined and then pour over your tofu and vegetables
  4. Stir your sauce through and, as it begins to thicken, add in your cooked noodles. Toss until the noodles are completely coated and heated through
  5. Serve with more red chillies, sesame seeds and fresh coriander
