Ingredients:

For the sticky tofu

  • 1 x 250g pack of Cauldron Extra Firm Tofu

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 yellow pepper

  • 1 red onion

  • A glug of oil

  • 435g tin of pineapple

  • 2 tbsp cider vinegar

  • 2 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce if not gluten-free)

  • 1 tsp garlic (or 1 clove crushed)

  • 1 tbsp cornflour

To serve

  • Your choice of rice or noodles.

Method:

  1. Heat a non-stick pan or wok with oil and add in the chopped Cauldron Extra Firm Tofu and vegetables. Fry for a few minutes

  2. Meanwhile, make the sweet & sour sauce by adding the tinned pineapple and juice to a mixing bowl along with the vinegar, tamari, garlic and cornflour and mix together

  3. Finally, pour the sauce into the tofu and cook until the sauce thickens. Serve over a bed of rice or noodles and enjoy!
