Sweet & Sour Tofu

Made with our Extra Firm Plant-Based Tofu
Ingredients:
For the sticky tofu
1 x 250g pack of Cauldron Extra Firm Tofu
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 red onion
A glug of oil
435g tin of pineapple
2 tbsp cider vinegar
2 tbsp tamari (or soy sauce if not gluten-free)
1 tsp garlic (or 1 clove crushed)
1 tbsp cornflour
To serve
Your choice of rice or noodles.
Method:
Heat a non-stick pan or wok with oil and add in the chopped Cauldron Extra Firm Tofu and vegetables. Fry for a few minutes
Meanwhile, make the sweet & sour sauce by adding the tinned pineapple and juice to a mixing bowl along with the vinegar, tamari, garlic and cornflour and mix together
Finally, pour the sauce into the tofu and cook until the sauce thickens. Serve over a bed of rice or noodles and enjoy!
