Vegan Sticky Sesame Tofu with Spring Greens
So quick and easy it’ll be ready in the time it takes to say Vegan Sticky Sesame Tofu with Spring Greens a hundred times. (Maybe.) Ready in just 10 minutes and packed full of tangy sweetness, this flavour-filled vegan recipe is perfect for a speedy lunch or dinner.
Made with our Organic Marinated Tofu Pieces
Ingredients:
1 x 160g pack Cauldron Marinated Tofu
Small handful green beans
1 handful of spring greens
Rice/noodles to serve
For the sauce:
1/4 cup tamari
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tsp tomato puree
1 tsp corn flour
1 juice of lime
Method:
Add the Cauldron Marinated Tofu pieces into a pan and fry on a medium heat for a few minutes.
Make the sticky sesame sauce. To a small mixing bowl add all the sauce ingredients and hand whisk until smooth.
Pour the sauce over the tofu, add the chopped green beans and spring greens.
Place a lid on the pan and simmer for 5 minutes (give it a little stir every minute).
Once the sauce has thickened, simply serve over rice/noodles.
