Veganuary; eat better for our planet!

After what we hope has been a wholesome, tasty Christmas, we’ve got news for you – the good food doesn’t end here! Don’t worry; we’re not suggesting you continue to relish in festive wellingtons and Christmas puds…

We’re sponsoring Veganuary for the 2nd year in a row, and we’ll be dishing up some delicious vegan dishes for the whole of January!

We’re supporting their yearly campaign to inspire and encourage plant-based eating throughout January. We know it can be hard to get your creative juices flowing in the kitchen ALL the time, and that’s why we’ve got a bunch of mouth-watering recipes on our social channels, along with a 7-day meal plan to kickstart a tasty 2022.

Wondering whether to take part? It’s not too late! It’s not only an excellent opportunity to try some different and delicious recipes, but it’s also a chance to reduce your carbon footprint on the planet.
We all need to do our part to protect and save our planet, and eating plant-based is a great way to start.

Is a plant-based diet better for the planet?


Since the Veganuary campaign started in 2014, one million people have signed up and eaten vegan for a month; this shows the impact that it’s had on the planet.

The more people take the Veganuary pledge, the more these impressive figures will increase.

At Cauldron, we’ve always been passionate about healthy, delicious food that’s better for us and better for our planet, so we’re really proud to be sponsoring Veganuary this year, and hope we can inspire EVEN more people to introduce vegan food into their weekly meal plan.

Here are some of our top tips for eating vegan this January:

  • Fill your fridge with vegan ingredients and veg – this will stop you from giving in to cravings! If you’re prepared with fresh food in the house, you’re less likely to go shopping on an empty stomach and pick up the first thing you see (we’ve all been there!)
  • Stick to a meal plan – This way, you’re not fumbling around for last-minute recipe ideas, and you’re less likely going to cave in to cravings. We’ve conjured up a tasty meal plan which makes it even easier to shop, cook and enjoy plant-based eating during Veganuary.
  • Add some 10-minute winners to your meal plan – Let’s all be honest; some nights, we don’t have the energy for an elaborate recipe, so don’t put that pressure on yourself! We all need those quick 10-minute winners so that we can get cosy on the sofa ASAP! We’ve added a variety of recipes to the Cauldron meal plan, so if you fancy something easy, you can do just that.
