Roasted Aubergine Moussaka

There’s aubergines and potatoes and we’ve added garden vegetables and creamy béchamel sauce topped with a sprinkle of herbs and gruyère cheese.

Aubergines and potatoes are just the start. We’ve picked courgettes, carrots, tomatoes, celery and mushrooms to smother in our creamy béchamel sauce.
A sprinkle of herbs and gruyére cheese add the final touch.With all those layers of juicy vegetables and melting cheese, moussaka’s not the easiest or the fastest dish to make. At Cauldron Foods, we love to take our time preparing meals like this one so you don’t have to.

    This is absolutely fantastic! Love it, love it, love it! I have been searching for a veggie moussaka that tastes like the real thing for SO long and now I’ve found it. Please get Sainsbury’s to stock it (the one I use don’t do it on line) and please, please keep on producing it. The only complaint is from my husband who got fed up with me going on about how good it was when I was eating it whilst he was watching the footie!

    Delighted that you enjoy the Moussaka so much. Unfortunately, although we present to all our retailers, we can’t influence what products they stock in our range. Sometimes, they can be influenced by customers requesting the products be listed from the store manager.
    At the moment the Moussaka is stocked in Morrisons, but it is always worth checking Sainsbury’s from time to time as they do change their ranges on a regular basis.
