Rafi Arkin - Brand Manager

I’m Rafi. I do the marketing for Cauldron. Every day there’s something different to do, from speaking to journalists about our new products, to arranging for samples to be sent to local veggie groups for tastings.

I am rather looking forward to the summer sampling road show I’m organising this year, taking lots of our favourite Cauldron products to county shows and food festivals for new people to try - seeing their reaction. Should be great fun, as long as the weather holds!

Claire Swinbank - Food Technologist

Sky diveHi I’m Claire, one of Cauldron’s food techs. I take the recipes our chefs create in the kitchen and look after them from development all the way to the supermarket shelf.I’ve recently got back from 3 month round travels to Oz, New Zealand and Malaysia, doing lots of fun stuff like bungee jumping and sky diving. The best part of the job is seeing the product you’ve looked after from development in someone’s trolley!

Hi I’m Tim and I look after the development team (or is it the other way round??). The food is great and when I’m not tucking into a delicious new recipe that we’re thinking about launching then I’m indulging in my other passion which is running up and down hills on the fells and moors of northern Britain….well, it takes all sorts doesn’t it….

Amanda

Hi I’m Amanda. I look after Cauldron’s packaging, and when I’m not looking after the Cauldron packaging, I’m busy on our farm looking after our 130 cows and calves, 180 sheep, 3 dogs and 2 cats! The best part of my job is eating! We have lots of tasting sessions so if I can’t be found at my desk I’m usually in the kitchen checking how good our recipes are. Yummy!

Kate

Hi I’m Kate. I develop inspirational, new and tasty recipes for the Cauldron range. I love cooking and experimenting with different tastes and textures. I have been a vegetarian for 22 years so this really is my perfect job! Thinking that someone will be choosing the product that I have developed for their tea and really enjoying it is really satisfying. When I’m not at work my young family keep me busy we love walking and cycling around the Yorkshire Moors and eating Cauldron products!!!

AndrewAndrew Elder

This is Andrew. He was head of marketing for Cauldron for 2 years but has now left for pastures new. We still miss him and invite him to taste our new products whenever he’s around. An ardent foody and cyclist, he’s often spotted either around some of London’s finer restaurants, checking out the new recipes, or out on the roads of the Cotswolds, on his latest fashion bicycle admiring the scenery.
